The German chemical - Robert Wilhelm Eberhard (August 16, 1899 March 30, 1811). He  studied the emission spectra of the elements of fire, and with Gustav  Kirchhoff discovered cesium (in 1860) and rubidium (in 1861). Development  of methods Bunsen gas several analytical, was a pioneer in  photochemistry, and began working in the field of chemistry  organoarsenic. With his laboratory assistant, Peter Desaga, developed the Bunsen burner, an improvement in laboratory burners then in use. Named Bunsen, Kirchhoff Award spectroscopy after Bunsen and Kirchhoff. Benson  was born in Göttingen, Germany, the youngest of four children in the  library of the University of Göttingen, and Professor of Modern  Literature, Christian Bunsen (1770-1837). Studied  [2] and after school in Holzminden, in 1828 matriculated at Göttingen  and Bunsen chemistry with Friedrich Stromeyer, and get a doctorate  degree in 1831.
