Heidi Jones of WABC:In New York City, weekend meteorologist Heidi Jones of WABC-TV was arrested by the NYPD. On Nov. 24, Heidi Jones filed report of an attempted rape. On Monday, Jones was charged with the misdemeanor crime of making a false report.

In mid-November, Heidi Jones reported an attempted rape to the New York City Police department. The marathon runner reported that while she was running through Central Park on Sept. 24, a Hispanic man grabbed her from behind. According to her report, the man dragged her into a wooded area and was scared off when two people walked by. She also claimed that the same man approached her on Nov. 21 and threatened her, which prompted her to make the report.....Read More
